I guess we'll start with the week before Abbey was born. Brett was coming home for lunch one day and happened upon three dogs (a mama and two puppies) that had been thrown out with 1/2 a bag of dogfood. It was supposed to snow that night (of course, it didn't) but he just couldn't leave them to freeze. Thus began a frantic week of vet visits, phone calls, pictures emailed-not to mention visits to the OB to see when our little one could be born...we needed to find these guys a home-and fast!

Thankfully, we did. Nice homes for each of them-and not a moment too soon-but not before we got some great pictures.
