Happy Halloween

So we tried the best we could to get Abbey interested in the "pumpkin carving" (I used quotes simply because we didn't actually carve anything. Instead we used Mr. Potato Head stuff that just gets stabbed through the pumpkin). Besides, carving's too messy.

Anyway, the grownups did all the work while Abbey played and ate soap. She did however sit still long enough to hug the pumpkin and kiss the finished product.

profiles of cuteness ... and other stuff

So this is a rather random collection of Abbey, Abbey and Daddy, Sarah's pictures of herself, and shots of out first major school project, which after much consternation was a resounding success. It was on the history of fingerprinting and WE all did a good job - Sarah especially.

A day at the pool

Few things could soothe the southern heat wave quite like an afternoon at the pool. And Abbey and Sarah took straight to the water, though the rest of us were a bit slower to adapt.
